Main and Sub fuel filler

Has anyone tried to fit a Toyota 100 series fuel filler neck into the standard tray filler point in a D40? I'm looking at adding a secondary tank to my truck and I was thinking that would be a good solution because then you wouldn't be inclined to fill up an all in one larger tank when you're not paying attention at the bowser, but for long trips it'd give you an ability to chuck in an extra 40-50 litres.

Integration to the existing system is not a problem, just looking at the fuel filler issue currently.
