Hi. There is so many topisc / answers "maybe boost is low" or "check the solenoid"... Would that mean there is no boost sensor that we could check using ODBII scanner?

i'm not up on d40 but afaik there is a boost sensor on the intercooler. i have no idea if thats readable by a scanner.

Yep. I got this one.
Yeh there is
Correct me if i am wrong moderators as i have only had a D40 for a year with that motor.

Ive had to do alot little things to it,
To get it running nicer.. tlc really.
Mostly all easy once u learn how.

The boost sensor is on the intercooler on the rhs, behind the grille. I fitted a boost guage to it off a plastic tee piece & enjoy seeing it rapidly spooling up to 22ish psi.

So i certainly see my solenoid seems to be sweet. An easy helpful mod.
And you see your boost all the time without having to run tests, apps.

Probably even better.. obd2 guages can be bought too, and fitted & have permanent digital colour readouts of boost, temps, codes, kmh, etc etc.

The more money spent on one the nicer and feature packed it could be, i thought about getting one..
But decided not to in case it wasnt compatible with the Navara.

Usually people just get the cheap obd readers & torque app or similar.
