Driving lights

Hi gents , I'm looking to fit a set of driving lights to my 2012 d22 withe a genuine steel bar . I'm wanting to fit a set of 9 inch hid's but running a tape around I'm not sure I'll have the room . What is every 1 running ??? Pics would be great

Hella rallye 4000. Fit perfectly. Behind the edge of the bar and all. Love them. They are 220mm
Which equates to 8.6mm. But they have a really flat mount.

I have the lightforce 240 xgts and they are huge but fit on the bar nicely.
