We have two dogs Jaffa is a Chocolate lab and Kujo is a Bull arab x boxer
This is jaffa when we picked her up
This is kujo after we got her as a pup
Taken two months ago
Jaffa is 3 years old and Kujo is 2 years old
Both of them playing

Have to admit I'm a cat person myself but my wife loves these two old Labs so I have to suffer all three of them. Here we have Boomer (short for boomaranga because he's a ranga and Australian) and Dave the chocolate Lab. They are a pair of smelly old boys (13 and 10 years old respectively.
Sadly they don't get to come camping as often as we'd like thanks to National Parks draconian rules that outlaws mans best friends because they might urinate on a tree and scare off a possum........where do they think I pi$$ when in the bush? Is that not going to scare them off the same?
Anyway, ant over, here are our old gentlemen.

To right there mate. It sucks big time. I've traveled many coutries where taking your pet dog to a national park is not a problem at all. I don't what it is about this country and it's atitude towards dogs.
Even in the US, and Europe major hotel chains making it very easy to travel with your dog and not an uncommon sight to see a leashed dog in the passage ways.
The NPWS bang on about domestic dogs introducing parasites into wildlife population. If anything I would be worried it would be the other way around.
I usually run the gaunlet NP's with my dog. Got away with it so far.

Ha, at least one thread where I can post yet - new to the forum, and new to my D22.
Anyway, I own a Ridgeback girl, named Crispy. She's 15 months, and we got her at 10 weeks from a breeder in Sydney. Beautiful dog, but as lazy as they come. Not that it bothers me much, she's silent and loves to sleep, but as soon as I whisper "walkies" sh's all there!
Mind you, I'm a terrible trainer, so I have what I produced

Our 6 year old Australian Terrier. She is a pedigreed dog, her brother was the the Grand Champion of Australia and New Zealand a few years ago.

Hey guys,
Below are a few pics of my dog. He was the best mate a bloke could ever ask for, extremely loyal, loved his family and all round legend. On friday we noticed that his legs muscles were twitching - which we thought was a bit strange, but it didnt seem to bother him. Took him for a walk on Saturday morning and he was fine. By Saturday night he was having trouble walking, so we rushed him to the 24 hour animal hospital. They said all his vitals were solid, and another complete check was done for poisoning either by chemical or insect. There were no signs of anything, so we took him home. By Sunday lunch time, he was unable to walk, i had to carry him outside to go to the toilet and i hand fed him that night. By Monday he had lost all feeling below his back, and his legs were completely gone. It was deduced that he had had an aneurism or a stroke of some sort. We made the decision to put him to sleep. Hardest ****ing thing i have ever had to do, as he was only 4 years old. I never went anywhere without this lad, he was in every aspect my best mate. Sorry to put a sob story in here, but i just wanted all you dog lovers to grab your dog today and give em a good pat. Never know when they are going to go. The last picture is before we took him to the Vets to say goodbye.
