Hi guys. Just bought a 2012 d22. 2.5 model. Had some funny vibrations coming through the steering. Jacked it up and found it was bound in 4wd. Removed front drive shaft and the front end is still locked up. Any of you lads or lasses have any clue what that could be

sounds like blown front diff.
do you have manual hubs? if so unlocking them would help. but many didn't come with lockable hubs so its a wise idea to fit 2nd hand or aftermarket ones.
