is it possible to just unpplug the abs fuse and get rid of the shit, im not much of a fan of it anyway or is it more complicated

in a word no.
as the fliud runs through the ABS module the only wheel that will lockup is the wheel closest to the servo. its completely electronically controlled.

Curious as to what you dont like about it??
other than the exposed cables

Only problem I see with the ABS, is any damage to the sensors then you cant engage 4WD. not much good if your out in the middle of no where.

SAS on a fronteir been done some time ago. Follwing was done in 2009 on a Frontier - Check out the forum lin below

D40 SAS - Anyone done one yet?

Have seen that one before, as far as i know he still hasnt got the abs working yet, so it brings up lights on the dash

Trouble is, you would never get it engineered in aus unless it all works properly.

There is a company in the states that make a kit to mount the rear tone ring and sensor on the rear tail shaft which seems to have fixed the problem when swapping rear axles so im loking into possibly doing the same with the front, just not sure how it would effect the brakes when the abs kicks in under hard braking
