New d22 bonnet

Hey guys,
i was just wondering if anyone had put a bonnet off an new 2.5cr d22 onto the old 3.0lt as i am going to try and use the intercooler off to new d22 also i have done a 35 mm bodylift also if that would make any difference to the inercooler fitting???

i have seen the old 2.5 bonnet put on the 3lt. looked ok but CR 2.5 is better as it sits higher. i would say with body lift an IC should fit.
i would do a mock up to see if IC fits before buying bonnet.

Wat do you mean buy the 2.5cr sits higher i thought that they were the same truck just different motor or am i wrong in saying this?

if you look at the non-common rail 2.5 bonnet the scoop is nearly flush with the bonnet. the common rail scoop sticks up above the bonnet so there is a bit more room.

no. navaras also come out with a non-common rail 2.5 (early YD25) along side the ZD30 models.
don't worry about doesn't mean much.

Yes they bolt straight up.I have one on mine and mine was the v6.you will have to mod brackets for the intercooler for it to marry up to the bonnot because of your body lift

cheers scotty just a question for you then does it come with the rubber to seel around the intercooler on it?
Haven't got the bonnet yet mate was just tossing the idea up cause i want the nava to be all nissan. well accept the airbox out of the 80 series mod cause i had problems getting a hold of a nissan one.

If you buy a new bonnot you will have to buy the scoop aswell but you should be able to find a 2nd hand one and yes the scoop has the rubber on it

look on ebay bro sum of the shops on there sell d2 new parts but they aint factory nissan but they are under 200 for a bonnet

a bit confused on everyone saying like new and old d22’s but will a 2005-2015 yd25 navara bonnet fit a 2005-2015 zd30 navara?

basically yes. any of the yd25 D22 navara bonnets will fit the 2001-2007 zd30 navaras.

They might fit but the newer ones have a hole in the middle for the top mount intercooler
