Theyre just the small black rails in which you drill and pop rivet to the roof in which you can fit the feet for roof racks to. I do beleive they have a small square threaded plate that slides into a channel and then the feet screw into that holding it in place
And if those are it.. how much...
Well i want to build it all myself so it works the way i want it to. Would it be possible to use a GU patrol front and rear matching diffs and just run custom shafts from the transfer to match it all up? seems alot easyer and i have a place that can sort the shafts out for me easy as.
Hey guys.
Im just asking a few questions at the moment.
1. Does anyone know how to get Calmini gear from america and not through Caloffroad? The calmini gear seems to be very cheap with todays exchange rate. Alot better than getting from caloffroad.
2. Im interested in SASing my D22. How...
I have left room for a winch but will only fit a fairlead for where the rope acctually comes through the bar so no steel cable winches here. I do have to make up another bracket tho so that the winch is directly on the chassis rails and not on the bar. That way the bar is still a 10 second to...
And here is the finished bar: Fog lamps inserted. Not currently wired but yeh and a lick of paint on there too :) its solid as all hell so i am naming it the Zombie Bar!
The Bar is 100% custom designed and built by me. I made the mounts myself. they are so strong but not the best design to...
The inset fog lamp holes started: These were the worst to do. My mates plasma cutter was going to make things take about 2 minuetes but after problem after problem with that i gave up and just started slogging away on the grinder and it seemed to come out good!
Hey guys, well i decided to do my first write up on the bull bar i have been building for the last week or two.
Basicly, i wanted a bull bar that was light weight, with fantastic wheel clearance and protection with some inset fog lamps and no light protection bars. But one of these from ARB...
Yeh i know exactly what you mean by the technicalitys behind it but i dont think the car can become unstable with extended shakles within reason. like i mean a small amount of lift (1", not like 12" long shakles like a tropie ive seen around localy although they are done to a very high standard...
How does that work when some cars run shackles standard that are like 3 4 of 5 inches longer than some other cars? howcome things like the ford RTV utes just run an extend top shackle mount bolted onto the chassis different from the standard for utes? thats all factory and thats all legal. Also...
