Weird start.

Hey all,

This morning I got in my D40(petrol) and turned the key over to start and it was real sluggish and all the cluster gauges sort of flickered around or below the zero marks. I shut it off and tried again and got sort of a flat battery tick over. Off again and then tried again and started fine. Upon starting fine I noticed that the clock in the cluster had reset but not my stereo(aftermarket). For the past week it probably only gets a 5 minute drive in the morning and then again in the afternoon.

Battery issue maybe. Seems weird because it did start on the first go but gauges were funny then started properly on the third attempt. Seems to be running fine but is almost due for service.

Any other ideas other than go get the battery tested/replaced?

I'd check the battery terminals first and make
sure they're clean and tight.
But yeah battery probably a bit low I'd wack it
on charge overnight and see how it goes.
