Hi all,
I'm new to the forum and I own a d40 2007 spainish build.
I joined because you know while d40s are great they have a few issues.
And mine has a few. Between my brother and I, we do all the work on it. Hoping to get some help with its current issue.

My dpf light came on and car went into limp mode.
The car had been drive for 400km and over 80km before it went into limp mode. The front sensor on the dpf had fallen onto the drive shaft and worn the wiring to bare wire. This has been fixed.
I pulled the dpf out and it's clean as a whistle. So not clogged. I took to the mechanic to clear the dpf error but it came back on start away.
The car is now sluggish like the turbo boost is not working but I've cleaned out the intercooler and check boost and it's all good. Unless I have a leak in the intercooler somewhere.
I have zero exhaust smoke coming out.

Also the engine light wasn't working, so I pulled the instrument panel off and found that some complete moron had put black tape over the check engine light.
