Diesel pump chain snap

yes thats the book i'm talking about, not a pdf download. i agree now. having looked at it from your perspective,but in saying that,nissan must be a bit specific towards the diesel engine as they have included the injection pump.they should have,either,omitted that line or called them chains..i wonder if they throw one of these books in their electric cars.ha,ha.

They have obviously at some stage had a diesel engine that used a timing belt, which would have driven the injector pump the same way the chains do now. Whether they had 2 separate belts, 1 for the cams and 1 for the injector pump is anyone's guess, but I'd say that book is very generic. They are probably for engines we never got in australia.
