I’ve since added a Kings winch, Kings 2x2.5m awning and 265/70R16 Hankook AT2s on 16x7 Isuzu D-Max steelies.

The mounting rail for the awning’s just a 2.4m length of 40x40mm box section I’ve welded to the headboard and tradie rack, it was a temporary measure to get the awning on there for a camping trip last weekend. Plan is to cut it back off, move the tradie rack forward a foot or so and use it as the frame for the rear wall of the canopy I’m planning on building. Just have to buy the rest of the steel and find the time to get it built.
I’ve got a 1” body/tray lift to go in (lift blocks are 25mm pucks of 70OD HDPE, bolts are from the local bolt shop) and I’ve got 4 150mm lengths of 40x8mm flat bar, a bit of 1/2” heavy wall tube, some bolts and Superpro bushes+greaseable pins to make up my own extended shackles. The body+shackles/torsion bars should give me 2” of lift overall, probably not the best way to go about it but it’ll do until I have a spare $1000+ to throw away on suspension.

I’ve got everything here besides the steel for the canopy, just have to find the time to get it all done, lol
