Owned since 2007, it now has 270,000km on the clock. Owing to a very bad back I no longer go 4wd driving, the ute is used to tow an 18ft Jayco caravan. I have got rid of the winch and the brush rail and steps.
Modifications
- Exterior
Nissan Bull bar, IPF spotties, eBay steps (love 'em) ARB canopy, Nissan tow bar with flat plug and Anderson plug. TJM tub liner with 12v outlet. Reversing camera. Home made step in receiver. See pic.
- Interior
Autometer Cobolt Boost gauge and EGT gauge in pillar pod, Uniden UHF CB. Sheepskin seat covers.
- In-Car Entertainment
Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth and USB and SD card inputs, Alpine speakers
- Under the Hood
Diesel/Gas Australia LPG conversion. 80 series air filter fed by Nissan snorkel. 2.5 inch exhaust with straight thru muffler.
- Suspension
IFS torsion bars and IFS leaf springs (supposed 50mm lift). Rear springs are standard rate. I think TBs are heavy duty and the ride front the front is terrible. TJM Gold shockers, love them, they made a huge difference to ride and handling.
- Wheel and Tyre
16 x 7 Black wolf steel rims with 265/70 Maxxis 771.
