Modifications
- Exterior
-
Factory fitted Nissan snorkel, bull-bar, tow-bar. Installed boot liner (overhang) myself, couldn't bear the overcharging. Added 2 HID spotties, 32" LED bar. TJM sump and diff bash plates. Rear diff breather extension. Roof bars and new Rhino-Rack tray. Canopy. Standard recovery gear - TREDs, snatch kit, tree-trunk protectors, Hi Lift Jack. Runva XP11 winch and heavy duty winch block.
- Interior
-
Nil. Boring. Do floormats count? Dashboard Oricom UHF installed in that crappy little cardholder space. Spare handheld handy for guiding too-fast Toyotas.
- In-Car Entertainment
-
Stock CD/radio. Handheld Oricom UHF. Screaming children, Led Zeppelin.
- Under the Hood
-
Dual battery has been left alone. Third deep cycle battery added in the tub toolbox inside a battery box. Projecta 150Amp battery isolator attached to the side of the toolbox, controlling the lot. 50L Waeco now used to plug & play either in the tub or on the backseat for short trips and keep safe from 'enquiring public'. 3" mandrel bent steel exhaust.
- Suspension
-
Toughdog 41mm bore foam cell shock absorbers. Torsion bars tightened to lift up the saggy front end. Added a set of Tough Dog (continuous load - 300kg) leaf springs recently. Removed the crappy stock stuff.
- Wheel and Tyre
-
Hankook Dynapro ATM's on stock rims, going strong for 5 yrs now but looking shabby. Looking to get new corners soon - BFG's.
