Took my snorkel off yesterday to do some Raptor coating (see my post elsewhere) and found some damage that was caused by some idiot at the time fitting 11 years ago. We cleaned it up and resealed it. BTW your photos are how mine has been installed. Karl. Here is the damage that we found.

I have that size on my D40 but I have a 40mm lift. They scrubbed a bit on the front plastic of the wheel arch, so I just cut it off (some was already broken anyway). Not sure if this helps you or not. Karl

Thanks for that. No I haven't blocked the EGR and might look at getting the intercooler done. I have found that my speedo actually reads correct - what ever the speedo reads is confirmed by the GPS in my dsahcam, my tablet and my mobile phone :) Karl
