i'm curious to know if the 140kw engines also have timing chain issues like the earlier 126kw engines? my son is looking at a 2012 st with 150k on the clock. (my 2006 stx has 350k up, and still running strong, touch wood)

06 d40 auto has for no reason started flashing 4wdlo, even though the car seen to drive normally in 2wd. changing the dial between 2/4 hi, 4lo makes no difference! Also noted that the ATP light is flashing really fast, and only when in park. anyone have a clue?

My 06 stx dual cab is letting water in from somewhere high, no roof racks on. Noticed the roof rail recess on the roof has some light rust on the edges where the sealant is, it looks like it's shrinking, leaving a gap. Has anyone had water come in there?

my car has started to surge badly when accelerating under load. starts and idles fine, takes off normal under light load, as boosts to 21/22psi. would this be typically a blocked fuel filter, if so, is it an easy process to change the filter?

the leather on my wheel is split and decaying, so it needs replacing. Now, i have never removed the steering wheel before, so i cant compare. what i want to know is, mine only has cruise buttons, no audio controls. will a later model stx wheel be ok as a replacement? cheers

The top of my steering wheel is perishing, so it will be time to replace it soon. So, do all years and models share the same wheel, mine only has the cruise control buttons, no audio controls?

Brake controller 06 D40 I want to hook up a brake controller, so wondering which is the wire to break into on the brake switch. there is a 3 wire switch and a 2 wire switch, 1 for the brakes and 1 for the cruise control i would imagine. Just read through a previous post, mentions the red wire?
