Hi Pete, Hope the Navara is still chugging along. Did you end up having a crack at fixing the dry solder in the cluster at all? Any insight into its location behind the cluster (combination meter)? Also found this diagram.

Mine did this - Ended up being the intercooler ruptured - side tanks are only pressed on. Look for oil seepage at the lower join between the fins and side tank on the hot side

Yeah, I put a double DIN Kenwood in mine. Love it. Only prob with those adapters was that I had to swap the 12V Power and ACC pins over. I have a 550 and in the centre console compartment there is a 3.5mm stereo jack and a USB plug for AUX inputs for the Nissan Stereo. I lost the use of these...

Have you tried clearing code and then restarting? Another thing might be to clear the code, turn off and remove key, disconnect the battery for at least an hour, reconnect and restart? (it costs nothing and the alternative starts getting expensive) V9X surging and powerloss fault P0488

When was the last time you filled up. If only 1-2 days before, It could also be a fueling issue from contaminated diesel

The cable only cheats the air intake temp not the engine temperature. The ambient temp on the dash is still accurate. With this the EGR stays fully closed unlike the block off that needs an 8mm hole where Oil and crap still goes back into the intake and will eventually settle in the intercooler...

The P2457 is the EGR cooling system code. Looking through the training manual it is stated quite a few times that when replacing the coolant to follow the bleeding procedures to avoid a P2457 code appearing. It looks likes like an air blockage may also initiate this code. Any EGR code will...
