Oil catch can install. Some good info.

Hi, Thanks for that. I assumed it was something simple like that. I am also making mine out of 100mm diametre Pipe. I am also making it 100mm tall rather than the 150mm tall that was shown in the beginning of this thread. My 10 year old maths says the catchment area should be the same due to the...

Oil catch can install. Some good info.

I am going to make one of these soon and I have a dumb question. In the compartment where you put the steel wool, what stops it from sliding out the bottom? As I assume that the steel wool does not go all the way down as there should be some space at the bottom for the excess oil to...

pre cleaner or no pre cleaner?

I have the ZD30 Airtech snorkel as well. So can I just buy a piece to fit the YD25 that will get rid of the pre-cleaner?

pre cleaner or no pre cleaner?

I thought Daves snorkel was an Airtech from the post above. But are you saying the YD25 part does not fit?

    Just fitted a snorkel

I might have the name wrong. But if you go back one page a guy has a post with 3 pictures of snorkel kits. Mine is the one on the very left. its an aussie brand. Thanks for the advice though. I'll see if I can get that part. Cheers.

Just a pic of my D22 with new rims

Cheers Dave, but I'm up in the north island so luckily no damage at all. Here in NZ the model you call the STR is called the Venturer. I am not sure what the more tradesman one was called. (Vinyl floor etc, sounds similar to what you call the DX.)

Just a pic of my D22 with new rims

I wonder if thats an Ozzie thing. They are not called DX's over here and I have never seen a navara without a rear bumper. Curious.

    Just fitted a snorkel

My ZD30 D22 has a Gibson airflow snorkel on it, still with the pre-cleaner. Am I right in thinking I have to find a yd25 intake pipe (?) to fit so i can get rid on the pre cleaner of should I just find some flexi pipe to go from the snorkel end straight to the air cleaner?

Agree with all the others. it looks bloody good. Just a question, are you missing a rear bumper or did you take it off?

    Largest Tyres Without Lift

Well the new tyres are on and fit fine. There was a LITTLE bit of rubbing but 2 seconds with a hacksaw soon fixed that. it was as others had said just a bit of plastic from the mudguard. (My old tyres were just 255/70/16 road tyres.) Rear before.... Rear after...... Front before...
