Hello, My Np 300 drives great but when towing uphill the temperature goes right up into the red on the gauge & the red engine light comes on. It all settles back to normal once over the hill & general flat towing. I've replaced the water pump & coolant but am at a loss.

Hi Tony, Thanks for your reply, it turned out to be the braided hose from the turbo and the smoke was indeed worse when driven for a while over 2000 rpm. The garage has fitted a new clamp which seems to have sorted the problem & I'm keeping an eye on it. Thanks again.
