Its not my car so im not on some of the details, a photo attached to identify the engine model.
Car was being driven at 110kph and had done about 50ks since the last stop, then the engine just cut out and would not start again.
It had a new fuel filter fitted about 200ks prior and there was...
They dont need a special filter remover, it is a bit hard to get at but you should be able to get one from a auto parts supplier, there are many sorts available but only a few will do the job. You will also need a special tool to undo the sump plug!! I had a 3/8" socket extension machined down...
I would go for the Nissan ones though they are very expensive, good insurance. You will pay around $40 for a stud an nut set. They are dead easy to replace.

My original springs have bush sizes of 39 mm Outside diameter and a 14 mm inside diameter, front and rear. The ones supplied by...
Hm might try that, though walking in and getting one straight over the counter would be easier.
All diffs have the crush problem, if you do it right and the seal hasn't been replaced a few times it should not be a problem.
Hi I am having trouble getting an after market pinion oil seal for the rear diff, the local dealer wants $100 which is daylight robbery. Does anyone know if you can get an aftermarket seal?? if so where from and how much. I'm in WA so a local source would be preferred, I have tried Repco and...
