Warranty claim has now finally been accepted. It seems that the hold up was in large part due to the dealer doing nothing about it for a few weeks after I had initially went into see them. Probably hoping I would go away and forget about it.
Its a 2016 np300 Tony. Bought Dec 2016 so only just over a year old really with only 20000kms on the clock and I keep it under a carport. Dealer is in Tassie.
Hi guys,
I was wondering how long other members have had to wait to have a warranty claim accepted by Nissan?
I have had paint peel off roof in 2 small places back to bare metal and it has already gone rusty!! Not happy and I only noticed it about 5 weeks ago when I gave the vehicle a polish, as...
For those that have now installed after market suspension, what have you installed? How does the level of comfort compare to the stock setup? I ask as I don't want to install a setup that rides harsh. Comfort is my priority, but I would like a couple of inches lift. Thanks in advance
Anyone tried the ultimate suspension in their d23 np300?
If so what are your thoughts?
I am after comfort, and i am very happy with the comfort of the standard suspension, but it rides a bit low so was thinking of getting a 2 inch lift, but i am concerned the comfort levels then wont be as good
Hi guys, I am considering putting a bullbar on the front of my np300 but have been told that I will have to upgrade the struts and coils if I do this. I don't want to loose the factory ride (its a big reason I bought the vehicle), and was wondering if anyone knows what the best gear to install...
Just wondering what everyones thiughrs are regarding whether they think the np300 needs a catch can. I enquired with a couple of mechanics today and they both said they dont really need one, but that the d22 and d40 definately do need one. They reckoned tgat the d23 engine was far superior in...
Sorry no pictures but I saw an awesome setup in a D23 under the front of the back wheelarch. Nicely tucked up out of the way, without intruding on tray storage space. Thats where I would put the 2nd battery.
Sounds like you need to find a stand alone mechanic.
In my experience they are cheaper and more experienced mechanics to.
The chains and big groups are only after 1 thing - your money.
Get to know your local mechanic who works for himself and he will look after you if you look after him.
I would be towing about 750kgs to a ton. I had just heard in the past the towing in overdrive gears was no good for the gearbox and leads to premature wear and breakdown of the overdrive gear as they are not designed as strong?
Are gears 5 and 6 in the d23 both overdrive gears?
Thanks for...
I have heard that the suspension setup in the FRONT of the d23 is the same as the d40, does anyone know if this is true? If so is it a good reliable setup?
If the Odo being out is a general problem, that is a big concern, as services are not going to be done when they need to be, leading to problems later, Nissan should fix this under warranty I imagine, has anyone approached them about it?
