ST-X Dual Cab here. Everything seems fine and I get around 9ltrs/100 BUT I Totally agree with the no power below 2000rpm! Mine is a manual and it is stupidly hard to drive! I came from a 98 Hilux that you couldn't stall! even if you let the clutch out by mistake it used to just lurch forward...

Thanks everyone! Yeah I have a 08 ST-X at the moment but was considering upgrading and getting a auto....only prob is the ST-X which I paid $43k drive away brand new in September 08 is now worth over 50k!!! wtf!? Anyways...I think a ST might be a option if this is the case!

I am at 37k and was just quoted $972 from nissan. I will be taking it to them for sure as it is a major. Call me paranoid but maybe it will help with future warranty claims?
