yep, that's about right. no trimming should be needed, front mud flap may need removing or trimming though. winding up torsion bars to around 45mm lift would be recommended.

i'd be looking for a decent mechanic to sort out all the basic stuff first. 3500 for a tune and an exhaust is a lot, you can probably buy a basic 3" ex system and install yourself for about $500 or so, but its not the 1st mod id be looking at. drive it for a while then add a chip and exhaust...

16x8 or 16x7, +20 offset steel wheels. 265/75/R16 are a good fit on these utes. as far as i know the 2.5l tubs are 100mm longer than the 3.0l tubs, be careful. just ask the bloke to measure his tub.

it sounds to me like you need to mark where the splines line up in the adjuster, pull out the torsion bar and move it around 1 more spline (re-index) and re-adjust. you can re-index and wind it up higher to get the full 2" but you will want to make sure there is a good 10-15mm of clearance...

yes, that's exactly where i cut mine. i also drilled a hole in the lower part of the mudflap and tied a small rope to my sliders because the tyres would catch the bottom of the flap and fold it in half back into the wheel well.

Clutch - its pretty common for these rigs to still be on the original clutch at 400, 000k's. sometimes HD can be a bstrd. Very heavy to push in, I think this can be sorted by changing to an upgraded slave cylinder? Otherwise in the long term there may be potential for firewall cracking...

that manual can be quite a pain! it does have some good information in some areas though. i prefer the gregories type manuanls for ease of use. dont believe they have one for navaras though.
