hey scotty I have an 08 spanish d40 with 2 inch body lift, what do you think would look best to hide the exposed chassis rail, sliders or steps? and if you could quote me on both for delivery to Brisbane, thanks mate.
checkerplate on the steps btw
I am also keen on going up to 33's from 32's, I've done some pretty hard tracks in the past and havent broken a diff so surely the extra 25mm of rubber all round wouldnt put my diff at risk if I did the exact same stuff I've been doing?
I've been seeing more of these angled slimline undertray tool boxes on utes recently, I like the look of them and like the idea of having that storage there but also having better departure angle clearance than the square boxes (obviously still going to bottom out in some places).

Hey guys just wondering if I need to upgrade the wiring that were powering my Narva 175's because I'm changing to Narva 225? I believe they are both 100watt setups so I guess if thats the case there will be no extra load on the circuit?
had the exact same problem with my ute, it wasn't the tyres at all.. it was the rear uni joint on the front tailshaft so get that checked out. If it's only speed related it's a good chance to be a uni joint
Are there any hard pipes made for this section or is it a kind of DIY job? Either way a new thick canvas pipe should last if this one has done 180 thousand clicks
Thanks tony so just to clarify, that hose has turbocharged air flowing through it to the intake?
I will get into it tomorrow after work, if it does end up being damaged what should I replace it with?
Just saw all of this oil residue building up around this pipe (not sure what the pipe is) and it's also on too of the fan shroud and dripping down to the bottom of the engine bay as well.
I can't imagine it's the turbo because how would the oil manage to get all the way over the other side of...
I've always heard of Janowen Hills but didn't know where it was, so it was a surprise driving right past it haha! Is it a pretty extreme park, would have loved top have gone to the muster had I know about it back then..
Hey guys thought I would post some photos of my long weekend at Gordon country, it's just over 2 hours south west of Brisbane and is nestled on the western side of the Great Dividing Range.
Whats awesome about this place is the 4wd trails that take you to the top if the Great Dividing Range...
I was there last September for a week, staying at Yidney Rocks apartments. My nav only has a 2 inch suspension lift and I had no troubles, rear lockers arent really needed in my opinion, the LSD works fine for me
UPDATE
The battery was spiking up to 15 volts which was throwing out the alternator and in turn this was giving the MAF sensor an out or range fault and was telling the turbo to stop boosting at a certain point.
New battery has solved the problem, can accelerate right through each gear no problem
