Alright. So have figured it out.... What happened is when my mate has piggy backed the power from my work light switch. He has had a brain fart moment and put the earth from the UHF to the power out on the work light switch. So when I turned the lights on, it has turned the negative circuit for...

Turned the lights off. Then within the panic I ripped the UHF out and disconnected it as well.

Would've thought if it had become a fuse somehow it would've stayed hot though. It cooled down as soon as I disconnected the power supply. Ah well I'm off to the land of nod. Thanks guys.

Whole lot got hot. The coax melted and the antenna got hot as well. I'm in bed now. Just staring at the ceiling wondering what it could be. I'll get it looked at. Easiest way to sort it out. Expensive. But peace of mind as well.

Yeh got me stumped. Trip to the auto sparky I think. I'm no specialist in the area. So ill get the pros to have a look. It's in the overhead console. So it could be somewhere in the headlining as well I guess. I'll keep you all posted anyways. Cheers for the input guys.

Just don't know when the unit was not even on.....

Mmmmm I've got no idea at all. Maybe the unit is faulty. Or maybe the coax is rubbing somewhere. Is the outershield positive?? Think I might just take it to a specialist.

That thread is only showing the yd25. I'm running a zd30. Will figure it out this morning anyways. Have tried looking through all the threads I could find and couldn't see anything about the zd30. I know it will be a 1/4" line. Just was hoping for the easy way out. Haha.

Hey guys, Just wanting some help as to which lines to actually use with this liquid moly diesel purge. Looking at doing it tomorrow. So I will use the hose that goes from the filter to the fuel pump and just confused as to which the return line is. Any help would be awesome

or cut it in half and drill some new holes with some u bolts??? just when you cut it wih a grinder make sure to rub some candle wax on the cutting wheel. makes the job alot easier and alot less dangerous

easiest way i can think of for you to do that would be to find a bit of pipe or something like that with a fairly large diameter say 10mm or so. just be very gentle and dont try to bend it at to tight or a curve as it will cause the aluminium to split/crack mate. i think you should be able to...

hey guys. i read somewhere else in here that you should maybe put a boost gauge in when performing this mod?? how necessary is this really?
