Does anyone know if it is a common problem to have exhaust gasket leaks on the 2.5 diesel?

At my 100,000 klm service i asked them to check the chain and they said it sounded ok. So i just pour the oil in the tank when i fuel up?

Is that 2 stroke oil, every fill? or just every so often?

Cheers guys, i appreciate the help. I always us bp diesel whenever i can. The car has done just over 100,000 kms. No chips or anything that i know of anyway. Seems like i am leaning towards the injectors by what you guys are saying. You guys don't think it would be the timing chain, or oil...

Hey mate. It doesn't seem to be doing it at idle, i only hear it when i am accelerating. Seems to rise and fall with the revs, and also seems to get a bit quieter after about 10 minutes of running. Does this help at all?

Hey guys, just new on here so feeling my way around. I have a 2007 D40 and it has started to make a tapping noise from the motor, i'm not really mechanically inclined so i was wondering the best thing to do? I read one post that said something about a VNT solenoid? Don't even know what that is...

Is it legal in QLD to put 285/70/17's on?

Hey guys, new on here, just bought a 2007 D40 Navara. Been pretty happy with it so far, just a quick question, already broken a swaybar link, and have heard they are a weak spot, does anyone have a solution, or do i have to just be a bit more careful off road?
