yo, got a Td27t homejob turbo conversion, the revs absolutely top out at 4700, not a single rev more, anyone elses do this or am i the only one? cheers

yeah mate, just undid it whilst the first stake was still knocked in and it popped out a lil, didnt even damage the thread, then yeah just smashed it back in after i did it up again

yeeeooowwwwwwww.... piece of piss guys, in and out in under 20 mins, drop the 4 bolts on the flange, take the 2 bolts of the housing out , slide the shaft off and out, stick it in a vice grab a 27mm socket and ratchet and turn the stake nut off, tap the flange with a hammer, and smash the old...

i dont even know what nut your on about aha, i was just gonna rip the housing cover off, 2 bolts, then split the uni joint by the 4 bolts, then pull the shaft out... but i havent had a proper look yet

why am i using a rattle gun? and whats a stake nut?

hey all got a new centre driveshaft bearing in a box... my old is is absoltuely destroyed, hands down the worst you will have even seen, anyways, anyone know what im in for? is it a press fit or slide fit ect? any special tools ill need? cheers fellas

can a boost compensator be fitted to a factory pump?

to my understanding it makes it run that tad richer when pulled out, i used it a cruise conrtol once lawlll i got bored and was experimenting, found it was pluming black smoke/soot hoever pushed it back in and used my foot like a less lazy person and it was fine, its just like a choke to warm it up

does anyone know the main difference between turbo and non-turbo injector pumps, i know about fuel pumps but i am new to diesels, so far my guess is that it just accompanies more diesel into the engine to accommodate more air from the turbo, therefore, how do i tell whether i have a turbo or...

ill just make it airtight ;) therefore making it not run at all, ahahahaha but anyways was thinking making an aly box, witha panel filter and cold air induction, but it might all be re routed soon as im looking at intercooling it

i was starting thinking about custom fabbing an airbox so sit around the pod, i dont mind the pod filter itself, its the sucking noise and the dirt getting past the filter that i worry about

nah after putting pod back on had full boost again, its weird just not getting enough airflow

i dont do anything extreme, so water crossings are no worry, all i do is snad work and a bit of mud, and yeah lost ALOT aha, dunno why, when you see TD28's in patrol with a really tiny snorkel.... how do i tell exactly what turbo i have???
