The P1028 code on a Navara P300 is "EXHAUST GAS PRESSURE SENSOR 1". See attached pdf doc. Hope this helps.

Many below ground tanks have some water in bottom. Usually below draw off point for pump. Ok. But if you pull in while a tank is being refilled from tanker then the mixing will allow some water to be mixed with fuel and included in your fill up. Water is a no no for modern fuel injection.

Thanks for reply. I am having more luck with a Autel AP200 using Apple iphone. Early days yet but am much happier with my third purchase. It did throw a code for overloaded USB leading to bent pins on the centre consul (D23). Good to catch it before a full short.

At about 215,000km the front left hydraulic hose came apart and lost breaks due to fluid loss. Had both front hoses replaced. 6 weeks latter the front right hose failed and lost fluid. Hi.. Are you still using the Anceltech VD700 scanner on your Australian Nissan Navara D23? Not having much luck after buying two other brands and been very disappointed with them. Any commends or advise as to its suitability? Have you done a DPF burn off? Thanks

Hi. New to forum. Bought Navara D23 a few years ago at 200,000km and now have 265,000km. Been good and reliable until the DPF blocked and car went into limp mode. Pays to research and find experienced repairer but next time I hope to purchase a OBD scanner and do “burn” myself. Any suggestions...
