Stock set up there is no lift pump, the injector pump pulls the fuel from the tank.

So far as I can tell my 2003 D22 doesn't even have an airbag, go figure.

Sure they'll still work but down travel will still be limited to what a stock shock would be, doesn't really matter if you're not trying to maximise your articulation and especially if you're not wanting to waste the money already spent on the shocks, use them until they're no good and then buy...

I agree with happy john, air bags are a big risk for leaf sprung vehicles, puts huge stress into an area of the chassis not designed for it, spring for some good springs. I've used greasable extended shackles with stock leaves on mine to correct that and it works for me, they're not everyone's...

They're a good diff, much better than Toyotas Hilux version, 210, 000 km on mine and it's sweet, this is unusual I'd reckon.

Properly designed lifted springs shouldn't need them, usually they'd be used with extended shackles to correct the pinion angle for driveline vibrations.

I bought a new genuine Nissan kit on eBay and self installed, reasonable price, good fit and still working well, been on a couple of years now.

It's simply because D21 style ball joints are bolt in and D22 are pressed and circlipped, ie bolt in is easier to deal with all round.

^^^ I did the same, was all over in a minute.

Maybe a different approach with a tub will help Helps alleviate some of the size issues for me anyhow.
