With the long range tank my empty is very accurate.
Run it all the time to the last 5-10lt still going strong.
And the pump would spend more time out of the fuel then a standard tank with the bigger area surface the fuel is spread over.

I find first too low. Then owners manual say you can use 2nd to start. I tried it, but am sure you would burn the clutch out starting in 2nd.

Think i got what your saying. When ADR's allow remote start? This is already available on Jeep Grand Cherokee and other vehicles, I believe the holden Statesman also has it as standard. So why would we be waiting for ADR's?
filter change is easy on the d23.
Replace the filter, turn the ignition on hear the fuel pump start wait 30sec it will change sound when it gets to pressure and a slight hissing sound as the system primes. Hissing sound stops all ready to start.
No codes to clear.
