I get startup soot lately.. trucks sat for months with a blown clutch, excessive fueling, always blowing bit of black smoke on move off at lights or heavy acceleration.

That wont matter for me when i never go a dual mass ever again after 2 failures at 20k and 28k (both professionally shop fitted), however thats great info and its always possible even a shop could made the mistake if they dont fit clutches much and didnt know this about the dmf hole and down u r...
Looking at the Switch back to Single Mass Flywheel Clutch... from a Dual Mass.
Q: Is it as simple as buying a OEM/Heavy Duty clutch kit with Solid Flywheel,
and it will be a direct bolt on?
Q: Possible to pick up a solid single mass flywheel only & bolt that on & combine with the existing...
I've had a look at the Master & Slave.
The slave may indeed be rusted.
i saw one yt vid of changing length of the slave bolt in the case of the fork sitting too far left, and had used a different bolt to position the fork in the middle of the area.
My fork on slave sitting to the far right...

I need permanent fixes.
The BCS i think...
