Yeah the 6mm hole is only if you dont ‘delete’ the EGR from the ecu as it prevents the flow fault codes causing engine lights.
If you get the EGR deleted from the ECU (removing the fault codes) then you obviously dont need the 6mm to fool the ECU
Hi Rice,
If you deleted the EGR from the system, why have you left a 6mm hole in your blanking plate? As that is just a work around if you havent deleted the codes/EGR…
Ive blanked mine off with no hole so no soot/fumes get through and deleted the codes in the ECU.
Mine also has the misty oil on that hose and its not long after upgrading to a larger HPD cooler with all new hoses etc. mechanic told me that it’s apparently quite normal but im following this to see what you find.
So my v9x i just fitted a egr blanking plate and had the egr electronically disabled. Yet the engine light came on (with cruise control failure) again for a flow issue, any ideas if i have missed something? Or what else can cause similar flow issues?
Hi All,
Just wondering if Labsy managed to fault find and find the issue?
I keep getting a limp mode come up with similar issues and ive got a 600km drive home tomorrow…..going to be fun trying to not use much turbo and constant engine off/ons
Wish me luck
