Weird fan problem

Hi I have a 2011 thai d40 with a strange problem. The first fan setting stopped working on 1 so only have 2,3 and 4. Also the ac only turns on on setting 1 with no fan and turns off on other settings. I can get it to work with setting 2 if I put the knob between 1 and 2.

It's probably your blower motor resistor. The Spain item is different to the Thai so make sure you get the correct part. They're not difficult to replace. There are a couple of videos on Youtube on how to do it.

Thanks I'll try that. I was thinking it could be that but the weird symptoms made my unsure
