Where does this clip go???

G’day. I started on my ladies 2012 D40 YD25 today. Removed the radiator to get the top tank replaced. When I removed the cold pipe from the intercooler I heard something drop on the floor. I thought it was one of the hose clamps. It wasn’t so I looked and found this clip. I’ve looked and can’t find where it came from. Driving me mad….. lol.

Any ideas?

I'm not sure where it's from, it looks like it could actually be off the radiator itself.

But in the interests of getting someone to post the real answer correcting my mistake, I'll offer this:

It's off the rear view mirror of my grandmother's F650.

Hahah thank you for the bump.

Little things like that left over drive me mad. I got it back together last night. The last thing was “the clip”….

I don’t know but it fitted perfectly on the seam on the top of the black box on the intake manifold.
