V9X navara radiator question

Hi all, i'm just after some advice. I have a STX-550 Nav, and recently just broken off the small plastic nipple that is right under the radiator cap (on the right side). As it was pretty brittle. The plastic nipple connects to a small hose that feeds into the coolant reservoir. For now I have just attached a small rubber hose onto the nipple and glued with epoxy back onto the radiator part (under the radiator cap).
I know it's a temp fix and I don't know if it will leak anytime soon. Just wondering best way to go about it as I don't really want to fork out $500 or more for a whole new radiator.

Buy a radiator overflow spout like below. Drill out the hole and and bolt it from the inside with some epoxy to seal it off.
