So Far changed all filters - All new vacuum hoses, New Boost control valve, cleaned MAF None made any difference. I bypassed the BCV and put vacuum feed straight onto the actuator, Whee it went like a scalded cat! Until the rubber hose out of the turbo blew off its spigot with a bang!
Then I could hear the turbo whistling and varying its speed so it may be ok. It looks like I have a dead BCV [from ebay ] or the ECU signal is incorrect What's the procedure for ECU reset? It's not putting up any codes could that be the problem?
