Stx550 rotor size/rim restrictions

Hi,

I currently have a stx550 2012 navara with quite big rotors. I’m wanting to fit on like a 16inch or 15 inch rim (smallest I can fit is 17’) to get the look I’m after with big tyres. I’m wondering if I change my front rotor to something smaller will that be enough to allow clearance or do I have to change the entire caliber and brake setup entirely?
Any help would be great thanks

It is the caliper that catches on smaller than 17" wheels, not the rotor.

Yeah, you’re kinda screwed. As @landmannnn said, it’s hitting on the caliper and you are kind of stuck with those unless you want to go through a major reengineering exercise. It might be worth looking at additional offsets for your rims. That’s likely to be a bit frustrating because if the whacky Nissan PCD but it might also allow you to additional options on tyres.
