I have just changed the rear road springs from the perthitic 3 + 1 and had another HD leaf fitted 4+1 and rides and carries a full load brilliantly.
While I was there I decided to take a couple of photos for the English Navara owners on here...
My D40 is 2008 Spanish built and lives here in Spain, never had any paint or treatment on the chassis..... I think the photos speak for them self's.
The Spanish made a brilliant chassis BUT Nissan decided to ship over to the UK with all the road salt & grit, not the builders fault ? Nissan should have had special paint system to deal with the UK's special road treatments.
Look at the last photo closely and you can see the part No stamped in to it.
