Possible Ignition Problem

Hi All
I have an 05 ZD30 with a problem starting.
When I turn the key to accessories everything lights up fine but when I turn it to Start everything goes out and nothing happens
But when I turn it back to accessories then back to start a second time, it starts fine,
I’ve disassembled the electrical parts and sprayed contact cleaner on to them but it’s still doing it, is it the ignition system or should I be looking deeper
Any help appreciated

You'll have this problem also if the battery is nearly dead. It might show a good surface voltage but if you put a load tester (auto electrician or a battery sales place) on it, you'll discover that the voltage plummets, it's a sign that the battery's plates are not in very good condition.

Try cleaning the terminals first, as izzibri says.
