I wouldn't think so. If that sort of event happened, I'd be highly tempted to start cleaning electrical connections first, because generally unexplainable errors are the result of poor electrical connections which tend to route power through odd places (resulting in odd errors).
 
Could a faulty boost solenoid throw a MAF sensor fault code ?
possibly. depends a bit on what engine your talking about.
faulty boost solenoid can make turbo over boost and pull in to much air which the ecu flags as an error.
this can be combined with leaky pipe work or intercooler which keeps boost pressure down (so not tripping the boost sensor, if it even has one) but turbo is still blowing more air than its meant to.
 
^ Great point, the P0101 error is a V9X error, the earlier YD25s used 0102 and 0103, so there could be an issue with the intercooler (some V9Xs had intercooler faults where part of the chamber deformed and may burst a seam). It'd be worth checking the intercooler and associated piping (look for black emissions from any part of it to find the leak).
