Navara 2021 Engine Canbus and RPM Signal

Hi All

Please note this is the first time I am using this forum.

I am trying to install a maxhaust sound booster to my 2021 Nissan Navara. The soudbooster requires an RPM signal from the engine canbus, but it doesn't seem to be on the can bus under the drivers seat.

Anyone out here can assist?

Under your seat should be very limited lines - seat power (for heater and adjustment), person detection, seat belt pretensioner, seat airbag - not much else.

The main loom is under the dash. It's not something I'd be trying to fiddle with, and certainly not adding aftermarket connections to - chances are they'll use those snap-lock wire joiners which can shred the wiring and cause no end of trouble for the car.

I wonder why they chose to directly wire it, rather than go with a BT connection through the OBD port?

If THAT is useful, the OBD port should be under the dash on the driver's side.
