This my little D22 build, its been a fun car to play with except for the snorkel as there is almost no room in there to fit your arms, here's a list of the mods I have done so far;

1: 2" lift (50mm for the young ones)

2: CSA Tanami Mags with +20mm Offset

3: Archilies XMT Tires - 265/75/16 (No rubbing on full flex)

4: 3" Turbo back exhaust, includes a 3" straight through dump pipe (Had to cut the studs short for the heat shield on the passenger floor pan as it was rattling against the exhaust)

5: Adjustable Chip imported from Germany

6: Modified waste gate (Now running 24psi at 3500rpm and 22psi at 5000rpm)

7: EGR Mod

8: Fitted factory snorkel

9: Installed 3 more interior light switches

10: Installed a full alarm system with a door lock actuator to drivers door for keyless entry, along with interior light delay.

11: Fitted a Pioneer touch screen, pioneer splits in the front, coaxial’s in the back, Alpine PDX 5 channel amp and a Pioneer Subwoofer (TS-WX710A I removed its internal amp and wired directly to the PDX, 102db at 1w/1m amazing punch), also lined all the door skins with several layers of dynomat, this has reduced road noise considerable.

12: Steering wheel mounted cruise control

13: Pillar pod dual gauge holder with digital EGT and PSI gauges (Evo Brand)

14: Fitted 3 more factory “Jesus Bars” and an extra one to hold the pillar pod

15: 55w HID Gen2 H4 lighting Kit and 5 Cree Led Light Bars, with factory style switches from Narva.

16: Reverse camera

17: Laser based front and rear parking sensors (Laser shifter/jammer)

18: MCC rear jack bar

19: MCC side steps and brush guards

20: ARB steal winch bar (This is going soon, going with an MCC one)

21: Hard Lid with tub liner (Tub liner is going soon for rubber spray instead

22: Steal sump bash plate

23: Cast alloy chrome plated door handles

24: Stainless steal scuff trims

25: Tinted windows (Getting this redone soon for something darker)

26: Smart battery isolator for the factory fitted dual batteries

27: Altezza style tail lights with LED bulbs

28” Replaced all interior factory bulbs with LED’s

Here is a list of the mods that I have planned, not all in the order listed, but the turbo and intercooler will be happening within the next 2 weeks of this post:

1: Forefront Billet Turbo

2: ARE Upgraded intercooler

3: Air Lockers front and back

4: Air bag rear suspension

5: Rancho shocks (with pneumatic control) along with steering dampener kit

6: Winch with plasma rope (haven’t decided on the model yet)

7: American bed rails fitted to hard lid for extra cargo space

8: Dynamat the entire interior

9: Contemplating an IFS lowering kit

10: MCC Technical Falcon bar

11: Long range tank and second tank in factory spare wheel placement

12: Fabricate a dual wheel carrier fitted to the MCC rear bar

13: TPMS with display on the Pioneer touch screen

14: Front upper control arms

15: Braided extended brake lines, along with DBA slotted disc’s

16: Fabricate fixed diff protection plates along with extra bash plates

17: ROPS cab kit

18: Ute swag fitted to the hard lid and rear tub (Very cool pop out tent)

I did all these mods myself with exception of the hard lid, tub liner and crap ARB bull bar as these were all dealer supplied, and I must say all 3 are crap, not only is this ARB bar ugly it’s also weak and I dislike ARB with a passion due to there poor customer service over here in WA, I had to make official complaints and they now use my emails in there sales training on “How not to treat a customer”, I have had unbelievable service from MCC, there transport costs to WA were fantastic and there gear looks great, and they always have stock.

If anyone wants any particular photos of my mods or advice on how to do certain mods just flick me a PM as I will be happy to help, I’m a seasoned automotive mechanic and an auto electrician and have been installing and modifying things in cars for more than 25 years now.

Once I have the turbo and intercooler fitted I will be have this little girl run over a dyno so I can see what she is putting out as its quite impressive already and there is not a single stock 4cyl 4x4 (so far) that can keep up with her at the moment, she was limited to 140 using a GPS speedo when stock (said 155 on the dash) now she will hold 170 up hill and will wind past 180 down hill with the wind up my backside ☺ not to back for a little 2.5ltr engine.
