Hi group

Just wondering if anybody has any idea what this could be. After reading alot of posts on here all of which I have done listed below, but issue still stays

So

Turbo changed and new accoultor fitted
Serviced
Dpf cleared
Egr blanked
Crank shaft sensor replaced (bottom one)

It is a 2013 with over 200,000 on the clock

She drives ok on flats but as soon as you hit a hill the power drops to less than 20mph or below with some hills not even being able to climb

She starts first time, apart from when it's really cold takes a few attempts

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated thanks

Is there any sign of smoke when the power seems to be lost? What colour? What specific engine do you have?

The smoke may tell the story, lots of black smoke means something's wrong with air getting to the motor. Lots of white smoke means there's way, WAY too much fuel for the air it's getting.

The actuator you replaced - was it a vacuum controlled one, or an electronic? Nissan changed them around that time. Is there a black hose coming from the top of the actuator?

Hi old Tony

Thank you for your reply.

Smoke wise she has a little white at start up bit after that she is good.

Actuator wise is a electronic one.

I've found that my propshaft front end has play in it that it virbtes at 40mph or above not sure if that is anything to do with power loss.

But basically she just drops power on hills and sometimes won't even make it up the hill

Hope this information helps
Thank you

Ok, so it would seem it's not an overfuelling or underairing problem. Something that cropped up in another vehicle very recently might be at play here too.

Take the car for a drive and go up a hill so that the car starts to lose power. Pull over and check the temperature of the wheel nuts. If one wheel seems hotter than the other, you might have a problem with the ABS system on that wheel (either a bad sensor, or a dirty ABS ring). This could cause that brake to drag, reducing power - and you'll know because that brake will heat up and cause the wheel nuts on that wheel to get warmer than the others.
