Hi my d22 went into limp mode the other day and I had a mechanic come round to fix. I've read so much about this problem now and a variety of solutions to fix it so I thought I'd share mine. It was basically a misalignment of a small plate behind the accelerator pedal. The little ball that acts as a buffer slipped and restricted the magnetic attenuator.. allowing some fuel to pass
when the accelerator was pumped but it was really sporadic.
