Anyone of the Nissan fanatics out there who would like a christmas present, this 2006 Nissan navara with a perfect engine (except for needing a new or re worked VP44 fuel pump) and a mere 170,000k on the engine (just run in) could be sitting in your shed getting ready for whole new life. All you handy diesel mechs or really anyone with a few dollars to put toward this potential money making or awesome ute gaining project.... a 6k bargain as any true Nissan enthusiast will know, not forgetting the second hand car market is nuts right now.

what do you say.

ps Boogie boots if your reading this we haven't forgotten ya mate.

Boogie Boots hey.

So, we need to get to you with the ECU. it will be happening.

The ZD30.

Advertised it with full disclosure for 6k (bargain really) and despite several professional mech, and wanna be mechs looking at her none of us could confirm the fault, but all leaned toward the pump.

Spoke to 4 mobile guys that just would NOT touch it..... so strange

We were to timid to invest the 5k in pumps labour etc without a 100% diagnosis first and frankly we never managed that. Mid **nd Nissan charged us and said nothing was wrong with her, several tow trucks home afterwards shone a light on their diagnosis prowess.

The day it was advertised literally minutes after it went up a Mechanic called and took her for 5k.

Admitting defeat was a lot sweeter with 5k back in Steves account and I will keep in touch with mech (fingers crossed he not only fixes it but fixes it cheaply) and get back on here to let them know the outcome.
