Help with steering damper

Hey, I recently picked up a dobinsons steering damper for my D22, I’m not the best when it comes to turning a wrench but I can’t figure out how to install the thing, there was no instructions on the box or anywhere online that I can find and the only thing that came with it was the actual damper itself, it didn’t come with brackets like the tough dog ones seem to. Any help is appreciated
