Hi all. Just purchased 2014 nav stx 550 which I really love and wanted to chat to others. Cheers Chris

G'day,
Welcome.

The V9X is an awesome engine and in many ways it's the correct engine for the Nav & what people use them for. It has a lovely effortless feel.
We've had two 550's in the family over the years.

If you want my 2 cents worth, stay away from ECU chips & flash tuning.
For sure the V9X can make some impressive numbers, but there's lots of evidence that the factory Hp & Torque is already at the reliability limit. (YMMV)

Thanks BarneyB yeah none of the chips etc interest me. I have to get the SCV replaced soon though to deal with the engine surge/hunt. I believe this is a fairly common issue.......
