Hi guys! New to the forum.

Brother has a D22 (ZD30) with some issues (gearbox wiring, throwing fault codes, and an intermittent high/fast idle problem) that I'm trying to fix for him while I'm in town.

So first issue I want to fix is the wiring on the gear box.

On the right hand side of gearbox, there is 2 sensors on top, 1 in the middle on the side (unplugged, no connector to join to), and 2 at the rear (1 has broken wiring). Is someone able to tell me what each sensor is? And should that middle plug be connected somewhere?

The service manual doesnt really show much, just what sensors are there but not where they are located.

I have included some pictures to help.

Regards

Sean.

At the rear there is a vss a 4x4 switch, at the front there's a reverse switch, transfer nps and transmission nps. The tear down of the gearbox in the manual has the sensor locations

Thanks. Ill get the rear sensor (4WD switch) replaced, and looking at the Transfer NPS switch one of the connectors are broken.

Does Transfer NPS need to plug in somewhere? Or can it stay unplugged. I can't see anywhere it would attach to.

Hi. I would like to have a copy of the zd30 Navara d22 manual. Do you have a link? Thanks
