Engine Guard, overheating engine alarm. Who has one, where did you fit sensor?

Howdy all, as heading states, who has one?

More importantly, where did you place the sensor on the head?

There's a very convenient bolt hole on the head near the centre firewall grommet. Tried a few different attachment points, but that's the one I use.
 
Bolt directly to the head toward back of motor if possible. Stay away from exhaust. Don’t bolt to any casting that sticks out from the head.
 
Installed. Normal driving after an hour it sits steady on 77-78 degrees. I haven’t pushed it yet with any hard driving. Alarm is set at 100.

Sounds like u have it at a good spot. Alarm is usually ten to fifteen degrees over normal
