If you add too much electrical tape the tailgate wont lock and you’re gonna have a bad time.
Justification:
The fkn thing rattles like no tomorrow
DIY:
Step 1:
Wrap 5 loops of tape on the outer edge of the locking rectangle on the tub. The lock clicks in there but because there’s too much room, it rattles around. The tape is there to reduce the room and create a tighter fit. Add more, 2 wraps at a time depending how worn out yours is until you can close it and the locking mechanism clicks and locks securely but also it doesn’t rattle.
